Handcrafted, one of a kind, pine needle basket by Ava Madison. (Number 001)

Still holding a light scent of pine, this basket features a handcrafted metal center (drilled, hammered, stamped, and polished) coiled with glycerin-treated Pinus Palustris (longleaf pine) needles which are natural, dyed, or painted depending on color.

Each basket is a labor of love, threading one pine needle at a time, and is incredibly strong (many of my baskets actually hold water).
This basket took about two days to create.

Basket measures approximately 2 1/4 inches across and 3/4 inches high.

Each basket is signed and number in order of creation. This basket is 001 (yes, my very first basket listed for sale).
Perfect for small items such as jewelry, tea bags, or nature findings.
